Seems this Old Bird's lost his way, flew the L formation and not the V, went from Groupwise to Outlook, saw nothing, heard nothing, lost ALL COMMUNICATION. During the migration an alleged father emailed his concerns about perceived threats to his kid; Didn't get that message until after the damage. Held court with the Michigan Department of Information Technology--forty minutes of wasted effort; spun me to the Michigan Department of Education; then, in a moment of clarity, in a moment of Ground Control to Major Tom kind of way, I realized personnel might have the answers; Once again I had access to my email; had new security questions and new passwords; thought I was flying the V; Opened the month-old message regarding protective custody. Oops ... too late ... the kid got beaten down earlier in the month. Not much I could do ... other than return to the flock ... and drop money from the sky.

My ass is in permanent suspension. Got a letter from the Friend of the Court stating that I'm $2,174 in arrears! Get it? A rear...zzz! Guess that's automatic, nothing personal ... but then I get these Blue Cross Blue Shield messages regarding fraudulent charges to my account. Go figure? What am I to do? Get arrested?
